Introduction
Introducing the Association of Orthopaedic
Technologists California (AOTC). The AOTC is the state chapter of the
National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists (NAOT). The AOTC is an
organization for Orthopaedic Technologists, Surgical Technologists,
X-Ray Technicians "& Technologists, Medical Assistants, and other Allied
Health Professionals that are performing Orthopaedic procedures and
applications.
The AOTC offers you membership in an organization
that supports the advancement of the latest Orthopaedic Technology and
applications that are directed to your field in Orthopaedics. It is the
goal of the AOTC to supply you with a forum in which you may exchange
ideas and network with fellow colleagues in the field of Orthopaedics.
Membership in the AOTC includes a quarterly
newsletter with information on educational meetings (both locally and
nationally), new Orthopaedic products on the market, exchanges of
technical tips from fellow colleagues, as well as information for those
who wish to become certified as an Orthopaedic Technologist.
The AOTC does not require certification to become a
member but does encourage individuals to be certified. The membership
fee is $20.00 per year.
In this time of changing healthcare, the AOTC is
trying to be a strong relevent force in representing Orthopaedic
Technologists. The AOTC is your direct link to these efforts and
activities. Meaningful involvement begins on the state level and
California has the largest and most proactive association on the
national level.
Again, it is the goal of the AOTC is to supply you
with a forum in which you may be informed, network with fellow
colleagues, and to have educational meetings to continue to stay current
in the field of Orthopaedics. Benefit from the rewards of becoming a
member of the AOTC.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Association of
Orthopaedic Technologists California is to provide a forum for those
Orthopaedic Technologists and Allied Health Professionals in
Orthopaedics who desire to make an investment in their future.
The Association of Orthopaedic Technologists California
continues to make available continuing education, the opportunity to
network with fellow colleagues and to stay up to date with the future
role of Orthopaedics and the medical community. |
